The suspect, identified as a 23-year-old Syrian national, was apprehended by police in the aftermath of the incident.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was a 14-year-old teenager, police spokesman Rainer Dionisio told AFP. The attack was apparently interrupted by a delivery worker who drove his vehicle at the suspect, preventing further harm, police told the outlet. The authorities have not ruled out the possibility that a second perpetrator may have been involved.<\/p>\n<p>According to media reports, citing eyewitnesses, the suspect shouted <em>\u201cAllahu Akbar\u201d<\/em> during the rampage.<\/p>\n<p>Unverified imagery circulating online purports to show the man confronted by an armed policewoman. He appears to be smiling in the aftermath of the attack while raising the index finger of his right hand.
